Having worked as a nurse in postpartum hospitalization for many years, I have been frustrated over the years by the small thin baby towels. I've found that most baby towels are too small, too thin, and not very absorbent. For my own babies, I just ended up just using my own towels as they were large enough to cover them and dried fairly quickly.

Over the years, there has not been much improvement in the quality of new baby towels. In hospitals, towels are very rough. Not only are they rough in texture, but jersey hats used to cover their heads after a bath are not at all absorbent and leave the baby's head wet. This unfortunately can give babies a chill.

This led me to experiment with several different fabrics to get just the right one that is soft, durable, absorbent and environmentally responsible. The results of these experiments resulted in a large, soft, and absorbent "Organic Bamboo Spa" baby towel one that would adequately surround and dry the baby quickly, while keeping them warm as well. The drying hat, which is made of the same, soft, warm, and absorbent fabric, will dry their heads while wicking away the moisture to keep them warm.

As we all know, it is very important to keep a newborn warm and dry, as they are much more susceptible to cooler temperatures when they are so young. Our products are designed to promote a healthy, warm, and safe beginning for your precious newborn.
